-
What do I need to
get a payday advance?
You must have a regular income and
an active bank account with a debit
card. In some circumstances we may
require you to have a cheque book as
well with the same bank account.
-
Do I need a
cheque guarantee card?
No– but if you do, the advance is
provisionally approved.
-
How do I make
repayments?
Repayment of the advance is by debit
card or cheque.
-
How do I get my
money?
It is transferred money directly to
your account by same day Priority
Payment (CHAPS) ready for you to
draw on immediately.
-
How long will it
take to get the money?
If you have access to a fax machine
or email then you could receive your
money the same day. If we also
require cheques from you then you
could receive your money the next
working day.
-
Does poor credit
stop me getting a payday loan?
No. However we need to be happy that
all our customers have sufficient
funds available on payday to cover
the advance repayment.

-
What if I get
paid weekly?
No problem at all - the advance will
become repayable on the fourth
payday after the advance.
Alternatively the repayments can be
staggered over the next four
paydays.
-
I'm a
tenant is this a problem?
No problem - it makes no difference
to us whether you are a tenant or a
homeowner.
-
Do you contact
current or former employers?
No. None of your personal
information will be passed onto any
third party without your prior
agreement or unless required by law.
-
Can I get an
extension to a payday advance?
Yes, you can extend part of your
advance until the following payday
simply by paying the interest-only
on the original advance amount you
are extending. However, we do
require you to clear at least part
of your original advance each month.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a short-term
advance and is designed to help
‘Bridge the Gap’ until your next
payday up to 31 days away. We are
totally flexible and allow you to
extend your facility by paying an
additional fee. However, should your
credit term requirements be for a
longer term, then this facility may
not be your best option and we would
suggest you seek a more appropriate
loan facility.
-
What other
document do you require?
- Your bank statements covering the
last 2 months
- Your last payslip
- A recent utility bill or
alternative proof of address
- Clear copies of both sides of your
debit cards (please write all card
numbers next to the copy to ensure
clarity)
- Another proof of signature (i.e.
passport, driving licence, or both
sides of a credit card)
-
Should I think
about a loan or overdraft instead of
payday loan?
There are several methods to borrow
or obtain finance. If the amount you
want to borrow is quite low, or you
want to borrow for a short period of
time, a personal loan may not be the
best option. In fact it may be
better to take out an overdraft with
your bank, or make use of a credit
card, or even look into taking out a
payday loan. However, for larger
purchases, credit consolidation, a
new car etc., a personal loan may
well be the best option. Secured
loans will give you, in general, a
lower APR than unsecured loans,
meaning you repay less over the term
of the loan.
Remember - It costs nothing to enquire, you are under no obligation, it only takes a minute and you get a quick
"in principle" decision.
